This September, Stillwater took the Blue Star assessment and scored high enough to land themselves a spot on the Blue Star Leader Board, as well as one of the coveted Blue Stars. The city attained high points for natural resources preservation and management, stormwater management policies, and inspections and enforcement.

How much sediment travels down tiny Brownâ€™s Creek each year? Thereâ€™s less dirt now than last year, and there will be even less a year from now. Thatâ€™s good news for the Brownâ€™s Creek Watershed District, good news for Wolf Marine and good news for the fish in the creek. Good golfing means happy trout.

Lake Elmo â€“ A flock of geese was prevented from landing due to a buffer of tall grasses and flowers planted along the waterâ€™s edge at a property on Lake Jane. The geese were reportedly seen later on a neighborâ€™s turf lawn.
